The 2006 Maui Wowie Custom was created with ingredients that are grown naturally on the islands of Hawaii. This unique Round Shoulder Custom is one of a special run of 40 Custom Guitars in 2006.
The guitar was made at the Gibson Montana custom factory.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with little to no wear. Vintage-style tuners with Butterbean buttons & gold hardware. Gibson Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, round shoulder dreadnought with solid Koa top, back & sides. The variegation in the Koa throughout the body is really gorgeous. Rosewood bridge with abalone dot inlays & compensated saddle. Cream end pins with abalone inlays. 3-ring rosette & no attached pickguard.
It includes the original hard shell case and warranty card.
