Carvin Allan Holdsworth H2 2000s Gloss Natural

This is a gorgeous Carvin H2 Allan Holdsworth Signature Series electric guitar in Natural Gloss finish over a stunning flamed AAAA Maple top and Alder body.  Please see all the pics.  The fret work is impeccable as is the finish and definition in the flame Maple. It's a great sounding, high end, American made instrument with powerful Holdsworth H22 humbucking pickups with Alnico 5 magnets - some of the strongest I've plugged through my test amp(a vintage 1965 Fender Princeton) in a long time.  The Maple top on this guitar outshines some PRS 10 tops and Gibson AAA tops that cost twice as much or more.  The Wilkinson tremolo with stays in tune and works perfectly.  The electronics include Master Volume and Tone controls with 3-way pickup selector, and the optional dual coil splitters for an outstanding range of tones.  Other features include a semi-hollow Alder body that's light and produces highly resonant tone, optional black hardware, a matching Flame Maple headstock, optional diamond-shaped abalone fretboard inlays, Rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, and locking Sperzel tuners.

It's in true near mint condition - looks just about new.  The original Carvin hardshell case pictured is included along with allen wrenches and a nice leather strap.  A new H2 with the options this one has would cost $1,348.00(actual purchase price, not "list price") from Carvin's custom shop.  Considering the exceptional tones and versatility of this instrument, the number of features, plus the stunning beauty and quality of fit and finish, this is one of the best American made guitars available new for under two grand anywhere. Even better, this almost new, barely used example is under a grand!
