The Eastman VC200 cello is completely crafted by hand with well-seasoned, select tonewoods with durable hand-applied amber varnish. This step up level cello also features an ebony fingerboard and pegs with a composite tailpiece. The purfling is genuine and hand inlaid. The cello has a Stradivari pattern with a spruce top and back with maple ribs.
Overall good condition, no split ribs or cracks in top or bottom, one seem needs to be re-glued. The endpin is in good condition and the cello tunes well. Appears to need a set-up and possible new bridge. There is some cosmetic damage - see photos. After one trip to a luthier this will be an excellent student cello.
