Up for sale is a rare Fender Japan ST-72 Reissue in a very nice 3 tone Sunburst that has more yellow and less orange (this one really closely recreates some of the original 3 Tone Sunburst finishes that were available in the mid 70's - I owned a few that looked just like it) and it is in excellent condition. This particular model and color has been discontinued a few years ago.

It features black pickguard, pick up covers, control knobs, 5-way switch tip and tremolo tip.

The nut measures aprox. 42mm and the neck profile is a medium U shape and the front of the headstock and the back of the neck has some real nice flame pattern.The frets are vintage style and they show minimal wear.

Since this particular model has been out of production, they are getting hard to find nowadays especially in this condition.

There are also some very small nicks and scratches and there is one damaged area in the back that appear to have been lightly touched up (I tried to show in the photos).
I imported it from Japan and it stayed in the original gig bag until now. I just installed D'Addario 09 - 42 strings.

The pots and the 5-way switch are a little bit scratchy.
The guitar not only looks good but it plays and sounds great as well!
The guitar weighs 8 lbs and 5 oz.

The serial# prefix is U043XXX which indicates it was manufactured between 2010 - 2011.
I will ship inside a generic gig bag (I will also include the original manual, warranty card, hang tag and allen wrench key) - I will bubble wrap the guitar first to better protect it during shipping.
