First introduced in 1989, with it's unique design, the Imperial Model has been the iconic dream bass among bass players including players like Lincoln Goines, Richard Bona, Anthony Wellington, Matt Garrison, Reggie Young.
Top grade Ash Body w/Flame Maple Tone Block gives good resonance as well as nice balanced tone. The super rare and top grade Buckeye Burl Top is truly stellar. Also, the Hand Rubbed Acrylic Satin Finish is very amazing perfectly matching the black hardware.
Fodera/Seymour Duncan Dual Coil Pickups w/Matching Wood Pickup Covers has the rich and super clear Fodera sound. Fodera/Pope Custom 3-Band in Imperial Layout (Volume/Tone, Pan, Bass, Mid, Treble, Coil Tap, Mid-Range Switch, Active/Passive Switch), a super versatile configuration from boosted sound to natural wood tone. The Fodera-Custom (17.5 mm Spacing) bridge will get you good resonating tone with out tone loss.
The super solid 5-Piece Maple w/Walnut Stringers with Birdseye Maple Fingerboard with beautiful Abalone block Inlays. 34" Scale and 24 Large frets with superior craftsmanship. Standard Neck Profile by Fodera has great access and playability no matter where your hand rests on the neck.
On the head we have the signature butterfly logo on the Buckeye Burl Matching Headstock giving a luxurious vibe. On the back we have the reliable Gotoh Gold Modern 2+3 Tuners. The Neck-Through Body, due to it's contruction, has great sustain and resonance as well comfortable playability.
