JHS Angry Charlie V3

Angry Charlie has been a JHS flagship product for years now. In this VERSION 3, we've kept what's great, and made some tweaks to give you greater flexibility and ease of use. The V3 is the "power" that is recognized within the category of high gain pedals. It's a pedal that easily and reliably breathes the tone of the JCM800. Let's take a look at the features.

Angry Charlie is equipped with 5 controls: VOLUME, DRIVE, BASS, MIDS and TREBLE. The VOLUME control works like a regular master volume on your amp. Simply turn it clockwise to increase the volume, and counterclockwise to decrease the volume. The DRIVE control controls the amount of overall distortion/overdrive entering the signal path. Turn clockwise for more distortion, counterclockwise for less distortion. New in V3 is the addition of BASS, MIDS and TREBLE controls. To faithfully replicate a Marshall amp, we decided it was time to incorporate a complete Marshall style tone stack. All three of these controls cut and boost frequencies and are relatively flat at 12 o'clock. The 1/4" jack on the right side is the input, and the left side is the output jack.

VERSION HISTORY:
V1 = Larger housing, 3 controls, no PRESENCE control.
V2 = The size and appearance of the housing has been changed to the current one. Added PRESENCE control.
V3 = Changed the housing color to red and added a 3-band TONE control for a total of 5 controls.
