Anthem Les Paul-style electric guitar, translucent red top, in great condition. 22 frets, hard tail bridge, dual humbuckers, three-way switch, sealed tuners. Straight neck, excellent intonation, great all around player, with outstanding features and quality for a guitar at this price range. Rosewood fingerboard and mother of pearl dots.
To the best of my knowledge, these are the specs:
* Maple top with translucent red finish
* Solid one piece- Mahogany neck
* Mahogany body
* 2-Anthem hum-bucking pick ups
* Rosewood fingerboard with off-set bass side Mother-of-Pearl dots.
* 3-way selector switch (recessed slightly into body-- see pics)
* Volume and Tone controls (recessed slightly into body)
* Tuneamatic style bridge (made by Gotoh?)
* Gotoh (?) tuners (they're good tuners at any case!)
Anthem guitars were branded and distributed by Chesbro music in 2009 and 2010. Made in China, but they punch way above their weight. I have been collecting Anthem guitars for years, but sadly it is time to downsize. I have a few that I will be selling this holiday season, and they are all very fine mid-range instruments. IMO, you cannot go wrong with one of these guitars.
