Dragonfire True Texas Strat pickups offer big, blue, truly Texas tone. True Texas pickups deliver a modern wound sound that’s a bit hotter than many standard single coils. For some players, this is the preferred output to achieve that “just-right” tone and you’ll find that these pickups shine in all areas – from mid-range to high as well as bass, these single coils showcase strength and quality. Excellent in presenting a focused performance, these are recommended for Blues, Rock, Classic Rock, Country and a variety of Pop genres.

The AlNiCo 5 magnets in these pickups are highly charismatic and provide warm, smooth tone for a well-rounded and dynamic outcome. Beveled vintage style slug polepieces with a gentle edge slope add visual depth and subtle detail while staggered pole styling allows for balanced output along with maximum string response and set-up options.

These are dedicated position pickups for performance enhancement and differentiation. Each pickup is wound specifically for a position and the Middle position pickup is Reverse-Wound and Reverse-Polarity (RWRP). These pickups are not position interchangeable.
