This is a very rare Electrocomp 101 (Serial # 475) in a very good condition. It has been fully serviced and has no issues whatsoever.

I'm the third owner of this unit. Some mods were done in the 1970's by John Phelan, one of the engineers @ EML which makes this unit totally unique. Here's the functionality of the added 3 switches:

  • The switch near the Glide Control, multiplies and lengthens the glide time as the pitch slides from note to note.
  • The switch below the filter turns the BP (bandpass) filter setting, into band reject (meaning it provides highpass and lowpass filtering simultaneously).
  • The switch next to the mixer changes the character of the noise (from white to pink)

I took great care of the unit and used it only in my studio. I'm selling it because I'm simply not using it at all. This 101 comes with original manual and documentation.
