A very rare 1969 Norma Model WG-65 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar with the great playing easy playing action and the original Soft Shell case.
I can't find this model Norma anywhere. It has a date stamp of 69 in the sound hole. See pic 5. It has the model on the back of the headstock. See pic 9. Very high quality on this guitar. It didn't even need a neck reset. Plays great with a new set of strings. Our Tech loved it. Adjustable bridge and original tuners and pickguard.
Looks like Spruce and Mahogany back and sides. We would assume those to be laminated, but very beautiful woods neverless. It has a zero fret with a 25 1/2 inch scale neck with a 1 11/16 inch nut. Fully bound body and neck. Very nice guitar.
Norma is part of the Kawai family of guitar brands made in Japan. Kawai made other brands we all reconize such as Apollo, Conqueror, Heit, Ibanez, Kingston, Telestar, and Zim Gar. All very quality guitars we all played back in the 1960's!
This guitar is all original. It needed a good cleaning and new strings which we did. No cracks and all the original equipment is still with it. Original Tuners, Bridge, Pickguard and Tailpiece. The frets are still in very good shape... See pics.
Ships in the shown original Soft Shell case. Its been around as you can see, but it still has the original working hinges, latches and original handle. Even the accessory box is still with it. It will continue to protect your cool Norma guitar for many many more years!
