From the “Good Wood” era, here’s a rare, vintage, original, ’89 LP for sale. The Bill Lawrence humbuckers were only installed in ‘88 and ’89 with very few examples in 1987 and 1990. They sound killer. Check out a video I’ve included in this listing, demonstrating the clear tone that’ll cut through the mix. The neck feels great and the frets are in great shape with a lot of meat left on them. The neck is straight and truss rod moves well. Measurement at 1st fret is 1.72 and 0.95 thick. 12th fret is 2.02 and 1.06. Nut width is 1.68. I just put new Ernie Ball 10’s on this guitar and polished it up. It’s ready to rock. There are strap lock buttons on there but I’m including original spec strap buttons in the case. This guitar is in beautiful condition and feels great. Weighs in at 9.122 lbs. There’s some patina, buckle rash and small dings mostly on the back and bottom of the guitar. I tried my best to capture them in the photos. More photos available upon request. No breaks, no repairs. It comes with the original case which I rate as being in “good” condition because it has two missing latches and some other cosmetic bumps but the case still keeps the guitar safe and secure.
