.....After trying this pedal through a Vox AC-30 and several different guitars, we have pretty much determined that this is Boss answer to the amazing 'always on' tone of a Klon or similar transparent boost/drive pedals. The RE side has a sweet midrange bump that works amazing for single coil guitars, and the CE side has a more tangy and defined tone that lends itself to humbuckers! It adds that sweet understated drive, perfect for the tasteful player and not just the obnoxious dude who needs to go overkill on the drive/distortion. This pedal is a must for lower watt tube amp guys for sure.

We also love the selectable buffer, simple layout and even the textured finish. Its that extra touch that makes these Waza releases special
