Plays and sounds great. It shows a lot of bumps and dings as expected in a 50-year-old guitar. Most significantly is the headstock repair. It doesn't look very good, but it's totally stable and doesn't affect the playability of the guitar. I've done my best to show all the bumps and dings in the pictures.
Cool piece of guitar history. Built by Yairi in Japan to be a Grammer imitation. Beautiful wood on the back and sides. Beautiful inlays. I've seen the Japanese catalog that describes the wood as "floral rosewood." I've done my best to show the wood in the pictures, but the pictures don't do it justice.
