Palmer PGA-04 Advanced Direct Injection for Guitar with Load Box (ADIG-LB) [pair]

For sale are my two Palmer PGA-04 Advanced Direct Injection for Guitar with Load Box (ADIG-LB) rack units; the successor to the PDI-03 with more features. They are in excellent condition with very few signs of wear. I used these exclusively in my studio for grabbing the DI signal from my stereo tube power amps into my recording rig. An excellent DI solution with lots of options!

Each box has two unbalanced outputs (1/4" @ 10K-ohms) connected in parallel and one balanced (XLR pin 2 hot @ 600-ohms); both with ground lifts. You can use any and all of these at the same time.

The LEDs show how much power is being sent to the load box. The internal load can handle 100 Watts RMS (input impedance is 8-ohms). The last Red LED indicates overload and should never be constantly lit. You can also plug in an external speaker and bypass the load-box portion of the unit (the connected speaker will act as the load).

The extensive filter section provides for a realistic simulation of classic guitar loudspeaker sounds. Controls include: Filter Volume, Voicing (Low, High, and Colour Lite/Brown), Full Range Volume, a 6KHz Hi-Cut, and Ground Lift on the outputs.

Another cool feature is that you can bypass the internal load and connect a real speaker cabinet and still have the DI signal to send to your recording rig, an effects chain, or FOH in a live situation.

Note that the units are totally passive, so no batteries or external power is needed (no ac power cord required). It only accepts speaker-level inputs and must be patched at the speaker output of your amplifier.
