Designed as an affordable, modern hybrid entry in Fender's early-'90s lineup, it bridges the gap between traditional models by combining elements of both the Jazz Bass and the Precision Bass. Design & SpecificationsBody & Shape: It features a distinct, lightweight poplar body. The silhouette is an elongated, smaller Jazz Bass shape but with sharper, more aggressive horns and a unique, angular pickguard. Neck Profile: Built with a slim, fast quartersawn maple neck, a 34-inch scale length, a rosewood fretboard (20 frets), and a slightly narrower nut width (1 9/16") similar to a Jazz Bass. Electronics: Equipped with a P/J pickup configuration—a split single-coil Precision pickup in the middle and a single-coil Jazz pickup at the bridge. Controls: Standard models feature a master volume, master tone, and a 3-way toggle pickup selector switch instead of the typical dual-volume setup. Condition: Excellent showing less-than-normal players wear and only minor blemishes, overall it has been well cared for and it presents beautifully as the pictures show.
