1977 Hamer Sunburst with lots of issues

The body is a correct original thin body with original sunburst finish over flame wood that looks really good

The neck pickup seems to be glued in and dont know what is.

the bridge says Seth lover underneath it

So both of these are not original Dimarzios

Bridge looks original , but has a metal plate shim instead of a wood shim

The neck is a 3 piece with the stumpy headstock which makes me believe it is a replacement neck. Maybe previous one piece neck has a twist to it and sent it back to Hamer for repair and this is what they did.

Im assuming that because the job is really good and the ink stamp looks right.

I did black light the neck to body joint area there was absolutely a newer neck put on

Still a great early one that still looks good. If it stays with me ill search for the proper pickups. Comes in newer Hamer hardshell case
