Up for sale is my original hand-made, pre-Rocktron Egnater TOL 100 MiCA. I bought this through a dealer in Nashville back in 1996 and waited 6 months for Bruce to build it. I ordered it originally as a 2X12 combo (you may notice the "RC" on front denoting combo-format) but I converted it to a head recently because the combo was a back-breaking 90+ pounds. Trust me - it is much better this way! I hand-made the head from 1/2" baltic birch ply to make it as light as I could (it is now 41 pounds), and finished it in a hand-lacquered tweed with 4 coats of lacquer. It came out great and has a whole new vintage vibe.

The amp has 4 Svetlana Winged-C EL-34s and Mullard 12AX7s throughout (plus one JJ preamp tube). The amp has never given me any issues apart from a hum from the reverb level knob - it may need a new 12AX7 driver tube, or you can simply disconnect the reverb tank. I use my Strymon reverb anyway, so I haven't been compelled to service it. Other than that, it's a fire-breathing monster with no regard for your long-term ability to hear.

Channel 1 is a great clean tone that will move plenty of air without breakup, Channel 2 is the SRV channel with tons of punch and light breakup, Channel 3 would be my AC/DC channel, and Channel 4 is Godzilla destroying Tokyo, especially on the "Modern 1" setting. Throwing on some ear-protection and then turning this thing way up on my 2X12 Celestion Creamback cabinet is incredibly fun.

Going through the full-disclosure item list, the master volume knob has been replaced with a larger one, all the external hardware is new apart from the steel corner covers which I re-used since they look aged, and I will include the 4-button midi foot pedal that Bruce made for me and that's about all I can think of.

I've been playing almost exclusively through old 60's Vibrolux these days, so I need to thin the herd and let someone else enjoy this beast. And now it looks as good as it sounds!
