Authentic vintage Fender Telecaster Custom body from 1971 or 1972.
Exceedingly rare factory mahogany Tele Custom body with Bigsby tailpiece (not string through). Most likely dates to 1971 manufacture for model year 1972. Fender had been using mahogany for the Thinline version 1, then though rare, continued to use up that wood on some Thinline version 2 models. Even rarer are some early 70s Customs with mahogany. And even more rare is this Bigsby body! Have you ever seen one?
As you can see, the body has been stripped and refinished. However, all routing is original. Original Bigsby bridge post thimbles, Micro-tilt plate, jack cup retaining clip, and shielding included.
Weighs approximately 4 pounds 3 ounces.
