Yes, this is a GM4T, obviously modified AND changed neck. The body is a very rare Newburgh made "custom finish" koa body with the fabled and extremely rare "rose" finish.

The guitar was special ordered in 1989. The reason it has a 1996 neck on it is because the original neck had a flaw in the graphite which caused it to warp in the mid-nineties. It was sent to Steinberger and they put a new neck on it. The original neck is not with the guitar.
This also has specially modded electronics installed at Steinberger at the same time the neck was replaced. This is the "Gilmour mod" EMG EXG (T&B), SPC (mid) and Pi2 (phase)
