Amp up your tone with these hot wound Dragonfire AR5s designed with dual blade rails on a full-encompassing bobbin for a modern presentation. The A5 rails featured in these pickups help you avoid definition loss and provide strong string response in a variety of playing styles for a more consistent execution. These are position interchangeable AlNiCo humbuckers in the size of a Strat single coil. This means you don’t have to mod your body to get the humbucking features and performance you want in any Strat slot.

These 4-wire AR5 pickups provide humbucking character and the ability to coil-split for even more control and functionality. AR5s are some of the hottest passive pickups out there for a Strat slot and can be used in any standard single coil space. These are on the beefy side for Strat sizing and might provide a tight fit for import guards. Check the measurements provided; some light filing and careful installation or handling may be required depending on your guard.

The included pickup wire color codes will let you know the hot, ground, and coil split wire colors for these four-wire Dragonfire pickups. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic wire color code information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.

Please note that different manufacturers and pickup styles use different wire color code systems. It is important to use the Dragonfire wire color codes provided with your order. If you incorporate one of our strat-sized humbuckers into an existing system or in a set with a different brand of pickup, optimal system performance may require phasing adjustment. Let us know if you have any questions prior to purchase.

Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.
