NOS-1969 Gibson Crest Rosewood Emblem / Inlayed M-O-P “Crest”

This very rare 1969 tailpiece emblem was unique to the Gibson Rosewood Thinline Premium model introduced in 1969. A total of 208 were produced between 1969 - 1972 According to the Certified Gibson Vintage and Authenticated ad campaign in October 2023.

No doubt another one of the Maudie Moore sample pattern items she held based on the info taped to the underside.
