The age of this listing reflects that fact that I put it on the market 3 years ago, but didn't have time to leave it listed, so I took the listing down. When I reactivated the listing, it ages the listing to the first time I put it up for sale. Please check my outstanding rating on Reverb. I will not accept low-ball offers, but I will accept a reasonable offer.

This is a very rare guitar. I have checked the Reverb listings many, many times to see if I could find another USA American Standard Stratocaster 1996 Inca Silver guitar with a rosewood board, and I have never seen another. I bought this guitar new and it has lived entirely in my music room, temperature controlled, humidity controlled and never smoked in. Never gigged! It has been used less than 10 hours in all that time, so it is like one coming out of a time capsule. Even though I have listed it as "Mint", it does have one flaw which is on the very tip top edge of the head stock. It is shown in one of the pictures. This guitar's tone has really opened up over the years, and it is now one of the best Strats I have ever heard. It is, after all, 30 years old, and the woods are seasoned and resonant. It comes with a like-new hardshell case that is covered in a tweed-like material, but more durable. The case is very plush on the inside as you can see from the pictures. The guitar plays like butter with low action. The neck is that perfect Strat shape. I prefer the rosewood board Strats for that warmer, rounder tone (compared to a Maple slab board). If you are looking for a time-capsule, mint (or very nearly mint), rosewood board Strat, that is a very rare color i(Inca Silver) for a USA 1996, then do not pass up this guitar. If 1996 is your birth year, then it is cooler still. This guitar weighs 7.85 lbs on my scale.
