Scotty Hasting is a talented country singer and songwriter now living in the Nashville area.

Scotty is an American veteran and Purple Heart recipient after being severely wounded in Afghanistan.

Black River Records has signed songwriter, artist and army veteran Scotty Hasting to its artist roster. His label debut “How Do You Choose” is slated for release on Nov. 3, 2023.

Hasting first picked up the guitar in 2020, teaching himself to play via YouTube. Despite 10 nearly fatal gunshot wounds from his time spent serving in Afghanistan, which left no feeling in his right hand, Hasting’s passion for music and desire to help others with mental health struggles spurred him onward.

In the package you get one Neoprene strap, a black 0.80mm durable polymer flat pick/strap unit and a set of instructions. There is an extra hook strap that supports the use of other standard flat picks.

The retail price of the Scotty Hasting Signature single pack is US$12.50.
