Chad Wackerman PASIC 2017 DW 7-Piece Drumset with Hardware

DESCRIPTION

Used during a performance at the 2017 PASIC Convention by Chad Wackerman, this DW Collector's Series 7-piece drumset is an instrument of the highest quality and aesthetic. Delivered by DW for use at the convention, the only stage time this kit has seen was during that event. After PASIC wrapped up, the DW folks swooped in, packed it up in (mostly) original packaging, and sent it to us. Now we'd like to send it to you!

The 8x10" and 9x12" mounted toms (all sizes are depth x diameter) feature Exotic VLT Pure Maple shells, the 12x14" floor tom features an Exotic X-Shell Pure Maple shell, and the 14x16" floor tom and 18x22" bass drum feature Exotic VLX Pure Maple shells. All of the toms and bass drum also feature maple reinforcement rings with an inner, contrasting ply of Bubinga and a beautiful Tangerine over Bubinga lacquered exterior finish. Evans clear G1 heads are on batters and resonants of all toms, and the bass drum sports a clear Evans EMAD (with foam ring in place) on the batter side and an ebony DW/Evans logo head on the audience side. An Evans EQ pad is also situated in the bass drum to slightly muffle the resonant head.

This stunning kit also includes two snare drums: a 6.5x14" bell brass and 5x14" Collector's Maple Standard with reinforcement rings and a custom black lacquer finish. The brass snare has an Evans coated Power Center Reverse Dot head on the batter side and an Evans Snare Side 300 on the bottom. The Maple Standard snare has an Evans coated UV1 on the batter and again an Evans Snare Side 300 on the bottom. Both snares feature DW's TrueTone 20-strand snare wires.

Toms and snares include DW's True Hoops, and all of the drums in this package - toms, bass, and both snares - feature black nickel hardware as well the tom arm on the bass.

DW's adjustable double-tom mount, heavy-duty floor tom legs, and two 9300 double-braced Air Lift snare stands keep the drums off the floor, and four 9700 double-braced cymbal boom stands and a 9500TB double-braced two-legged hi-hat stand serve to mount your cymbals. Also included are a 9100M double-braced throne and super sturdy 9002 double bass drum pedal.

This entire package - although no longer technically brand new - is in absolutely fantastic condition, comes with DW's manufacturer's warranties (we are an Authorized DW Dealer), and except for a few stick marks, fingerprints, and light scuffs were rods meet brackets, it's in better shape than most "new" drumsets you'll find on most music stores' sales floors.

"NEW-DEMO" means that we are an authorized dealer of the item and acquired it directly from the manufacturer. We consider the item to be new because it has not been sold to or owned by another customer. NEW-DEMO items, however, have been on display in an active retail music store for some length of time. APPEARANCE = 4.5

1. Item has some type of severe damage, but something about it is still salvageable.
2. Item has some damage or cosmetic issues, but parts of it are still fine. It is repairable.
3. Item is clearly used but not abused. It has scuffs, scratches, etc. from normal wear and tear, but you could use it as is.
4. Item is a demo unit with some dust, fingerprints, minor scratches, etc. It appears as it would after a week or two of normal use. It may or may not have original packaging.
5. Item has been opened but is new without scuffs or scratches. It may have been displayed, but it has not been played.
6. Item is brand spankin' new and has never been displayed. All original and as beautiful as the day it was created!

TECHNICAL CONDITION = 6

1. Item is probably just good for parts. It may be restorable with a lot of care and effort.
2. Item may be salvageable. Some parts of it work just fine, but other parts just aren't right.
3. Item functions to some degree as is. It is usable but not perfect.
4. Item is used but in great condition, or it is a demo unit from a showroom floor.
5. Item is all original and in perfect working condition. You may have bought new stuff from another store in worse shape!
6. Item is brand spankin' new, all original, and in perfect working condition. It's a flawless marvel of engineering!
