In addition, the Surfliner Deluxe truly lives up to its “Deluxe” designation, boasting a maple neck with sleek block/binding rosewood fingerboard, matched painted headstock, and redesigned control scheme. The rest is all classic Surfliner: the lightweight poplar body is home to an endlessly versatile 3-pickup HSS configuration of a bridge Guild HB-2 humbucker and two DeArmond Aerosonic single-coils to effortlessly cover everything from traditional washed-out surf tones to hard rock swagger and beyond.
