Rare Vintage Echo-Uke Hawaiian Koa Soprano Ukulele With New Hard Case

I am selling a rare Hawaiian-made all koa Echo-Uke soprano ukulele that dates back to the 1920’s.

Like virtually all of the Echo-Ukes that have survived into the 21st century, this one is missing the two thin metal prongs that were attached to the soundboard which resonated when the ukulele was played. This gimmick created a reverberating effect similar to an echo, thus the name “Echo-Uke.”

Echo-ukes were known to have deeper bodies than most other ukuleles from the same era giving them a fuller, richer sound.

This beautiful and rare all original Hawaiian-made koa soprano ukulele is in good condition. I don’t see cracks or repairs, but it has obvious play wear. Considering that it is a century old, I’d say this ukulele is in pretty good shape. It is stable and quite playable as is.

There’s plenty of information about the Echo-Uke online, so please research this ukulele and study the photos provided carefully.

Brand new hard case included.

Note: We only ship to the contiguous 48 states.
