1 - 5” x 7" x .018” small blank sheet of thin translucent celluloid tortoise shell for guitar pickguards
This is a very hard to find high-quality thin 100% real celluloid that has a classic vintage reddish-amber tortoise shell pattern seen on so many pre-1970 acoustic guitars. Each sheet is enough material for one small pickguard similar to a Martin D-18 or OM, or a Gibson J-45 or L-00. Diagram shown is for size reference only.
Pictures shown are a sample sheet for color and pattern reference only. Tortoise pattern will vary from piece to piece. Pieces do not have any adhesive backing.
Note: Both sides are factory finish only with some light surface scratches and will require buffing for a glossy finish.

Customer Feedback: Exactly as described! Nice and thick, like the vintage Gibson, Harmony, etc. I made 2 pickguards for old Harmonys; one large 'bat-wing', and one standard sized one for an H1260. Plenty of material left for a headstock overlay, or truss-rod covers.
