MOSRITE 1966 BASS

Here for sale is my personal bass : a 1966 Mosrite 2 pick up - Ventures style Mark II post -Ventures deal - bought in 1994 - same owner since: me!

A played instrument in fine condition, all original, . One of the "Duck foot" tuner broke inside and I had an original one bought in the USA by my vintage guitar dealer, so it was replaced but with original 1960s spare part- (before the Mosrites were reissued).

Electronics are all original, pots date to 1966 : 134 6614 > 14th week of 1966. (Pictures if needed)

Serial Number pictured # 7120 : dates it between 1966 and 1967 with 1966 pots

This bass has the Mosrite Duckfeet original tuners so much cooler than the earlier Kluson you can also find on Fender basses.

Set with flatwound strings, it gives it a deep crazy sounding Serge Gainsbourg/1960s vibe …

The powerful pickups will give it an Iron Butterfly, MC5, Stooges boost!…

This bass is in very good condition - some playing marks here and there, some buckle rash, but no technical issues or anything major. Comes with the ORIGINAL Mosrite case in very good condition.

FREE GIVEAWAY : original Mosrite white leather strap (needs a new hole) short strap belly playing.

Worldwide shipping. The exact price of the shipping to your location will be asked with a fee for the carboard box and packing gear. Feel free to ask for a video or anything else .
