Peavey T-25 Special, with the phenolic fingerboard. This model was produced for a little over one year, during 1982 and 1983, with the Special edition obviously being an even rarer beast. Serial number 01457930 indicates 1983 manufacture. Professionally serviced, tested and functioning perfectly.

I'm selling off some guitars that I have more than one example of, or simply have not been playing. This rare item from Peavey's wonderful T-Series has sat unused on a rack from the day I brought it home from the repair shop until I tested and photographed it.

The guitar is playing beautifully, all controls are functioning noiselessly, and as designed, including the famous T-Series coil splitting controls. Presents well, with some light patina visible on the hardware, and light scuffing, minor dings to edges (emphasized in photos, but not easily visible in normal lighting conditions). The frets are in good condition cosmetically and functionally, neck is straight, action is low, notes ring out clearly across the board. Switches and pots are all functioning correctly and without noise. A fine example of this rare American made axe that's finally getting its due.
