This is the last true aiwa highline cassette boy, there was also the 610 but that was based on a much lesser unit And while it was slightly smaller it didn't sound or perform as well.
This has been in airtight storage up until a month ago It has been unboxed and tested verified working original.
Unit was running 2% fast (~3058) so it was serviced and speed set nearly perfect @ +/- 0.75%

I doubt that the original sealed lead acid battery still works however the external battery box will let you use two AAA batteries and on AliExpress you can get replacement batteries that charge off USB
