From 1982 to 1992, the Boss CE-3 Chorus Ensemble was the workingman's chorus effect, heard on countless recordings and seen on thousands of players' pedalboards. Boss chorus pedals have a strong legacy connected to Andy Summers, John Frusciante, and Herbie Hancock among others. Mostly known as the stereo version of the earlier Boss CE-2, the CE-3 had a slightly sharper tone.
