1983 /1984 American Standard Telecaster, manufactured at the historic Fullerton factory during the "Dan Smith Era". Neck: C-shape profile, with a flat 12" radius (easier for string bending), a biflex truss rod, and jumbo frets. If you are a Jeff Buckley fan, this is the same model he used before his untimely death.
The bridge is a short-lived design deviation: a stainless steel, Fender/Schaller top-loading bridge with Elite saddles.
Bought from brother of the original owner. His brother bought it new then went into the service. He sold it to him. He was a bass player and stored it under the bed for most of its life.
serial number indicates 1983 but the neck date stamp is July 1984
Weight 8.1lbs weighed on digital scale
A true closet classic. Only selling as I need funds to restore my old car
I own a well worn 1983 that has been and will always be my go to Tele. These are awesome sounding and playing guitars
