The Taylor 110. It is a mighty guitar. I will say this here and now. My favorite guitars by Taylor are their cheapest ones like this one. As time goes on with any factory that ever made anything, their legacy is often more determined by their cheapest examples than their most expensive ones. The cheapest examples of the Taylor line were designed to be quick to assemble, and they naturally adhere to a more “right to repair” philosophy than their prohibitively expensive models. These bolt together like legos in a similar way that the 60’s Italian guitars did that I absolutely love. As time goes on, doing a neck reset on these guitars is way less costly than other guitars made in more traditional old school ways. Taylor in the early late 90's and 2000's modernized the acoustic guitar making process, and did such an effective job that a lot of other guitar makers changed their process to match what Taylor was doing at the time. This guitar is like their baseline workhorse model. It sounds huge with tremendous volume, it plays awesome, it's intonated beautifully, it's rugged and sturdy, it's like getting an early 2000's Subaru that is still going.

So those autographs. I know one is Kenny Rogers, one is Wayne Nelson of the Little River Band, and I wish I could tell you more about who the others were. Wayne Nelson is and Kenny Rogers are absolute bosses of American music history. That said, if you're interested in this just as an instrument and want me to take them off for you, no worries we can do that. There will be a little shadow where they were, but it will match the patina and condition of the guitar and it won't be anything too noticeable. Let me know and we can go either way.

As an instrument, this guitar totally rules. It sounds awesome, it feels awesome, and it’s been pro setup and dialed in perfectly. I also recommend buying one of these from someone like me who has gone through it. With the price point that these were made at, they don’t have it in the budget to give it a proper setup when it leaves the fdactory. Someone needs to take it over the finish line before they’re really good. The bones are there, but it just needs some finesse before it’s really ready as an instrument. This one is really dialed in and it’s a great player. The saddle is all the way down, but I find I have to do that with these to get them to play nice and slick. The action is low and comfortable and it has huge and robust tone. Comes with the original Taylor case, great guitar!
