Here I am presenting a fantastic 1989 Gibson Chet Atkins, with metal strings.

The guitar plays great and has great action. The keyboard and keys are perfect.

The guitar has little signs of the time. The back has no signs.

Volume and tone works great.

The serial number reads like this:

YDDDYRR

YY is the production year

DDD is the day of the year

RRR is the factory ranking/plant designation number.

Prior to 1984 when the Kalamazoo, MI factory was closed, the numbers 001-499 indicated Kalamazoo production. Ranking numbers 500-999 continued to indicate Nashville production through 1989.

So, this guitar was built in Nashville, november, 1st 1988

It will arrive in its characteristic original case, with fuchsia interior.
