The Pigtronix Infinity 2 Looper Pedal takes the ultra-low-latency looping engine of the original Infinity looper and squeezes it into a compact, user-friendly stompbox. The Infinity 2 lets you harness two independent stereo loops for a verse/chorus workflow. The Infinity 2 has full-range high-headroom inputs that accept mono and stereo instrument-level signals as well as line-level signals. Pair its impressive stereo I/O capabilities with versatile control parameters and innovative effects, and you’ve got yourself a seriously capable looper. The Pigtronix Infinity 2 offers incredible functionality for such a petite pedal. It all acts on one rule of thumb — most actions you trigger are automatically applied at the boundaries of the current loop. This eliminates the need for spot-on timing to switch between loops or stopping your loop at the correct time. You'll be surprised at the way the Infinity 2 turbo-charges your workflow and makes it easy to build full songs.

The Infinity 2 only has two knobs — Volume and Decay. The Volume control allows you to set the perfect level for your loop. However, when you play with the Decay control, things start to get interesting. The Decay knob causes loop audio to fade out during overdubbing. When you set the knob as far as you can clockwise, the Infinity 2 will behave like a standard looper with all layers at full volume for the duration of your session. But when you crank the knob as far as you can counter-clockwise, each overdub disappears after a single loop cycle. Between the two extremes, the Decay setting creates a continuously evolving loop that is sure to spice up your practice sessions and performances.

Traditional looping pedals simply loop the same section of music over and over while you play along. This tends to get boring, especially if you've been practicing all day. The Infinity 2 can help you ditch the days of boring loops and usher in a new era of fun player-controlled effects. Above the left footswitch, you'll notice a small push-button switch. This allows you to change the functionality of the footswitch. You can choose between Stop, Stutter, Octave Shift, and Undo/Redo. On the back panel of the pedal, a TRS remote jack allows you to trigger each of these special effects with an external footswitch.
