I am the original owner of this heavy-duty compressor pedal that I have only used in my home studio. It works as good as new. Can be used with guitar, bass and other instruments where you want more sustain or more even volume between notes. When on, the "Level" control allows it to add enough gain that it can be used as a boost pedal, even with the sustain adjusted all the way down. It can be powered with a 9-volt battery or the common wall-wart power supplies that most electric guitarists have.
It comes with everything shown in the first picture--instructions, warranty, and clamshell. Also, there is a vintage catalog of all the Rocktron effects that I didn't photograph. It mentions that this pedal won a Guitar 1 magazine award.
