The semi-hollow Vintage V72 ReIssued electric guitar is now available in three new body colors with matching headstocks; Firenza Red, Laguna Blue and Ventura Green, along with the original Tobacco Sunburst.
All the features that have made this semi-hollow model immensely popular with guitar players around the world remain. These include an alder body with f-hole, hard rock maple neck with classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile for instant comfort, speed and accuracy and, a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard for outstanding tonal transfer.
Along with these attractive new color finishes, aesthetics include a cream body binding, 3-ply cream scratchplate and chrome hardware, including the innovative Wilkinson WTB intonatable bridge, GraphTech top nut and Grover Deluxe machine heads provide quick string changing and effective action for maximum tuning stability.
The Vintage V72 ReIssued maintains all the sonic characteristics associated with semi hollow lightweight guitars of this design, without compromising tone, output or playability.
A Wilkinson WTB Alnico Single Coil pickup at the bridge, is the ideal choice to enhance the classic chime and jangle, whilst a Wilkinson WDG Ceramic Mini Humbucker in the neck position, is perfect to effortlessly enhance the natural smooth warm, low-end frequencies as the strings resonate though the chambered body.
