B.C. Rich Platinum Series Warlock Black Bass Guitar w/ Coffin Case

Here for sale we have a B.C. Rich Warlock Bass in Black finish. Made in Korea, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Hard Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including hardtail 4-saddle bridge and sealed tuning machines. The pickups are a set of active EMG Precision/Jazz pickups, wired to a 3-way pickup selector, independent volumes and a master tone control. 

The Hard Maple neck plays very well, with a 'D' shaped profile that is slim without being too thin. The gloss finish to the rear ensures that the neck feels smooth in the hand and assists with easy navigation of the 34" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and provides a comfortable playing surface. The double cutaway body design allows for easy access to the upper register so that you can make full use of all 24 frets. 

Amplified, the active EMG PJ pickups provide great fundamental bass tone right away. The low end is thick and meaty, ensuring that you will comfortably fill out any mix. This is complemented well by the fast attack found in the Jazz pickup in the bridge position. The control layout on this guitar offers real versatility, with the 3-way toggle switch allowing you to isolate each pickup. Independent volume controls mean that you can blend the pickups in any combination in the middle position.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall Good condition. The inside of each horn of the headstock shows a notable chip, exposing the wood. This isn’t hugely noticeable due to the natural finish. Scratches and markings can be seen to the front and back face, with small dents to the rear face. 

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratches and dents can be seen to the neck and fingerboard across the register.These are only lightly felt in the playing position and do not detract from the overall playability of the instrument. 

Body: Overall Good condition. Scratching and denting/chipping of the finish can be seen to all surfaces. The four outer corners of the body all have larger chips to the finish which expose the wood. A finish crack can be seen either side of the neck pocket, however this does not affect the structure of the instrument.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
