Awesome Bad Cat 2 Tone pre amp. This thing sounds absolutely amazing. Like, really good. Has 2 Telefunken tubes. Also has 2 distinct channels for a wide array of amazing tonal options. Channel 1 functions like a tone boost and gives you the ability to adjust volume and tone without getting too much overdrive. Channel 2 allows you to dial in the perfect amount of grit with gain and master controls.
Mark Sampson is/was the creator of the original Hotbox - When he designed the 2tone he made it BETTER than the HOTBOX- NOW you have TRUE BYPASS!!! You can run this in your pedalboard without any tonal changes with your other pedals - AND you have MORE TONAL SHAPING OPTIONS THAN THE Hotbox/DistortionBox!!!!!!! ITS LIKE HAVING THE HOTBOX/DISTORTIONBOX/AND THE COOL BOX ALL IN ONE!!!!! SAMPSON MADE THE 2tone way better and RIGHT THIS TIME!
This unit is equipped with two NOS Made In Germany Telefunken ECC83 tubes and has Matchless branded internal components.
Some light scratches on the reflective plating. Nothing crazy.
