Rogers was among the most innovative snare drum manufacturer of the time. Manufactured in Covington,Ohio in the golden age of Rogers drums Rogers was among the best known in the big band and swing eras, but also was popular among the classic rockers of the 1960’s. Drummers found the Rogers easier to tune and felt they got more projection with less effort than with other brands, better tone, attack and presence than with other brands at the time.
The unique Rogers snare cradle controls the effect of the strainer on the drum’s sound better than any other snare.
