The S4A from Adam Professional Audio is a high-quality three-way active studio monitor designed for use in mid-sized rooms where high accuracy is of importance. Ideal for broadcast monitoring, the ported cabinet houses two 8" woofers for reinforcing frequencies below 120Hz. An A.R.T folded ribbon midrange driver provides a smooth mid-frequency response, while the A.R.T. folded ribbon tweeter gives excellent treble clarity and transient response.
The speaker has four internal amplifiers that offer a total power of 800W RMS. This allows each driver to produce strong audio with low distortion. A balanced XLR input allows you to connect to virtually any professional sound setup, and adjustment controls include input and HF gain controls, as well as EQ adjustments so you can customize the monitor to your workspace.
