Nearly all of early US-made 5881 were from its inventor, Tung-Sol, and they were often relabeled for other makes. T-S 5881 are distinguished by a flat center plate, whereas Sylvania-made tubes have a slight V groove in the center of the plate. Sylvania's 5881 were also often marked with other names. GE Canada seems to have made a near clone of the T-S 5881, but the getters were mounted to the sides, so the top of GE Canada 5881 are clear.

Your tube has been fully tested on a computer-regulated, USA-made Amplitrex AT1000 on Fixed Bias setting with used good results. It has also passed shorts and gas tests. The tube might have mechanical wear or have the label rubbed off - these are very old! Tubes that test like new (tNOS) are available in a separate listing.
