I gave this old forgotten Epiphone Special a complete makeover. Finish is two tone neon sunrise, both body and headstock. Paint is extremely fluorescent and very bright under a black light. Bridge pickup is a DiMarzio P90 Super Distortion for some proper rhythm tone. Neck is a new FLEOR P90, which sounds nice and warm. All hardware has been upgraded:
- Wraparound bridge with individual saddles for precise intonation
- Graphtech TusQ nut
- DiMarzio P90 Super Distortion in bridge
- FLEOR P90 Alnico 5 in neck
- Matching black neck, truss rod and plug plates
Guitar finish is 2K automobile grade matte, extremely durable, including the neck. Professional fret job, polish and setup resulting in low action.
There are minor paint imperfections as shown in photos around the neck, all sealed by the clear coat finish.
Guitar plays and sounds amazing and with versatility from metal, rock, blues, jazz and more.
I'm selling it because I have too many hanging on the wall and want to keep building more.
