Pearl/Sabian Chad Smith's Red Hot Chili Peppers, 2011 World Tour, Complete 10-Piece Drum Set with Cymbals - $49,995.00
Chad Smith played this iconic custom made Pearl Crystal Beat drum set with Red Hot Chilli Peppers from 2011 through 2016. Chad began using this set on the Chilli Peppers 2011 world tour and continued using it through the bands performance at a fundraiser for Bernie Sanders at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, CA on February 5th, 2016. The custom finished set features Red Hot Chilli Peppers acid etched logos on each of the 10 drums and matching DW "Butt Kicker" canister throne. The complete set of custom Sabian cymbals (with the exception of the hi-hats) also feature the band's asterisk logo.
The set remains in excellent condition with no notable issues. Nothing broken, missing or damaged. Kudos to Chad's tech, Chris Warren for taking impeccable care of this set through 5 years of touring under one of the most powerful drummers on the planet.
The set includes the following.
Pearl Crystal Beat clear acrylic drums with acid etched RHCP logos, 24x16" bass, 16x16" and 14x14" floor toms, 12x8" tom, 14x6" free floating snare, 14x5" snare, set of four 6" Rocket toms.
Sabian cymbals with RHCP logos. 22" ride, 21" Holy China, 20' and 18" crashes, 15" hi-hats (no logos), 10" splash.
DW/RCI Vistalite custom "Butt Kicker" canister throne.
Complete set of Pearl hardware in the photos.
The set includes the custom Bernie Sanders/David Bowie-Ziggy Stardust mashup graphic bass drum head that was used for the Chili Peppers' 2/05/2016 benefit concert for Bernie Sanders. This was the last performance that this set was ever played. The head was made to honor Sanders and David Bowie, who was in the final days of his life. Bowie pass 5 days later on 2/10/2016.
The signed Chili Peppers logo bass drum head in the photos and video is NOT included.
