Vintage Silvertone, Harmony Bobkat Sillhouette. tuner bushings "63-73 - nickel

Important detail: someone who thought they knew more about this pointed out that Stew Mac sells vintage tuner bushings for $1.99

BUTT! ( and its a big ole butt) those bushings that sell for $1.99 each, WILL NOT FIT the Silvertone BOBKAT.

Those bushings are for Les Paul JRs and Specials and other selected Gibson models that use a 1/4" dia. tuner bushing.

Now, after months of selling these, and with help from Vintage Silvertone and Harmony owners.. We known that there are HARMONY MODELS THAT THESE BUSHING DO INDEED FIT.. the posted video explains what to look for. Please contact me prior to purchasing to make sure that the tuners on your guitar are the 7/32 " tuning post Diameter.

Finally! a set of Silvertone/Bobkat Model 1477 tuner bushings that are the proper 7/32 size! in nickel finish!

These tuner bushings were specifically made to fit the original Silvertone 1477 model Bobkat guitars built from 1963-73 I only have 5 sets of these left! and once they are gone, that is it.

the Silvertone Bobkats and Harmony H15s are great little guitars as proven by Annie Clark of St. Vincent who has been touring and recording with an H15 for a while now.

The old tuner bushings often become loose due to the necks being made from "Poplar" wood, which can shrink over time and allow the bushing to easily fall out during string changes, or if a string breaks.

Now you can get a real USA MADE bushing that actually fits the tuner post just like the originals. a true drop in fit.

I'm offering these in sets of 6 because You will likely need them, and who wants to pay 3 bucks for a bushing and 6 bucks in shipping. I've searched for years, but nothing else fits these slightly smaller tuner posts and the neck holes without re-drilling/modifying the headstocks. which causes more problems than its worth.
