This is a really stunning example of a 1960 Hofner Club 50. The guitar is all original, with the exception of the floating bridge and the jack point. This Hofner Club 50 Blonde has a laminated spruce top, laminated flamed maple back and sides with striking black bindings, 3 piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 2 x Hofner black bar pickups.
Slightly unusual headstock plate - it is the correct Selmer of London plate from this year but suspect this guitar has been sold in the European market and the "Selmer of London" section has been covered over in the factory.
It has been exceptionally well looked after and still plays and sounds fantastic - the guitar has had a previous neck reset and there is a small split in the timber plate below the heel and the scratch plate is missing. Guitar comes complete with brand new green Tweed style hard case.
