The Scorpion is a highly versatile effect pedal for any genre.
The first circuit is a single band, parametric equalizer. Includes controls for Level, Frequency, Boost or Cut of chosen frequency as well as Q which is the width of the frequency chosen. This allows everything from full sounding scooped mids Fender cleans to thin heavily cocked wah tones. The second circuit is a two knob fuzz distortion that goes from gritty to full wall of sound saturation. Yet very smooth even at higher gain the settings. The two circuits work great on their own or together. Works equally well on bass as guitar.
The Scorpion is handmade and hand wired. True bypass with Switchcraft top jacks in a Hammond enclosure. Runs off a standard 9v center negative power supply.
