Look close at the pictures and determine for yourself what you think of the condition/ cosmetics. Since the book was published in 2001 we look at the cosmetics and place them in the MINT range.
This guitar has really seen very little play, and is in great condition since it is 18 years old! There are a few minor surface scuffs where the strap lightly scratched the surface. We cannot find any through surface scratches anywhere as a matter of fact it is hard to see the light strum marks on the pick guard. You will be hard pressed to find another guitar that was made in 1996 that is in better condition unless it is still in the original box!!!
Again look close at the pictures to see the cosmetic blemishes I could get to show up in the pictures. The electronics are scratch free and the 3-way switch works the way it should. As you can also see in the pictures there is no pitting or tarnishing on the gold plating. It will be shipped in the original hardshell case, even the case looks new!

Samick Guitars:
Samick Guitars is one of the world's largest stringed instrument manufacturers. Samick produces acoustic, acoustic-electric, and electric models. The company began guitar production in Korea in July 1965 and started producing guitars for Epiphone in the mid 80's. They are believed to have been the main producer of Epiphone guitars during that time. During its operation the Korean factory turned out 6,500 to 8,000 instruments a month. However by 2004 no Epiphone guitars where produced by Samick and all guitar production had been moved to their factories in Indonesia and China.
