I feel lucky to came across one guitar from Frantz Mettal which was made in 1951. This model is very rare and is made from finest materials for the music elite and have never been on the market. Franz Mettal is considered to have been one of the most important German guitar makers working in Luby, Czechoslovakia at that time. I can't say much about the history and the preservation of this guitar so far, except that It is made from solid spruce sitka and cearly maple for back and sides. I think there is a change in first fret/ from zero/. There are some time changes in finish as well as you can see in the pictures below but the guitar is in good common visual and functional conditions given its age. I gave it to the local luthier and his conclusion after examining is that everything else seems authentic.
The sound of the guitar is not very loud but it is very beautiful and consistent and it has a very rich and deep timber.
