Heo Audio - Silver Series 15', Low Noise, Silver-Plated Copper Instrument Cable

Heo Audio cables were designed to be a premium cable for studio use, taking cues from the audiophile world and refined through decades of experience in both the Hi-Fi and professional audio spaces.

At the heart of the cable are the dual, 24AWG stranded wire cores made of silver-plated copper (SPC). Besides featuring a larger-than-typical oxygen-free, mil-spec copper conductor, silver plating creates an extra 'lift' in tone, retaining more frequencies across the spectrum and paired with the copper, creates a more balanced, natural tone than either metal alone. Uncommon to most mainstream cables, one core is dedicated to carrying the negative signal, as testing yielded better results with a full-sized conductor instead of sending the ground signal back through the shield alone. The conductors are shielded with a silver-plated copper braid, which is insulated using mil-spec extruded fluorinated ethylene propylene (PTFE) wrap. This core is then wrapped in bi-axially braided hybrid sleeving combining monofilament and multi-filament PET yarns to substantially reduce noise even further. The entire cable is finished in a 12 mil, nylon 6-6 polyamide Monofilament for enhanced durability and ease of cable management.

By default, the production versions of these cables come with 1/4" Neutrik gold-plated, Professional Series TS connectors, one end being a straight connector and the other being a right-angle silentPLUG, which automatically mutes the signal when partially unplugged, which prevents the loud 'pop' when fully disengaged.
